Meet Ulunda Baker
From hopeless to promoting hope through her life, Ulunda Baker is using her life story as a generational chain breaker and overcomer to help equip and empower others to overcome adversity. She’s a strong active advocate for children and families. She’s been a panel speaker for South Piedmont Community College, a workshop leader with The Relatives (youth Crisis Shelter and Program in Charlotte, NC), and speaks and serves with various organizations and schools throughout Union County and beyond.
She’s a dynamic encourager, connector, motivational speaker, and author. A leader in life, community, education, and business. Ulunda was recently voted one Charlotte Media Group’s 2021 50 Most Dynamic Women in the Charlotte, NC Region. Ulunda is a Sr. Director in Corporate America, CEO/Co-founder of Serve Unity Outreach, Inc. a 501c3 non-profit focused on bringing the community together to serve in schools, poverty, and homelessness. She also serves on the Community Shelter of Union County and Arborbrook Christian Academy’s Board of Directors. Ulunda has a heart for people, community, and education. When she’s not speaking and teaching others you can find her spending time and serving with her husband Richard and son’s RJ, Chris and Matthew. She lives in the Wesley Chapel/Waxhaw area just outside of Charlotte, NC.
